Sealed bids marked "Bid for “Sturgeon County, Villeneuve Airport Waterline Extension will be received through the Bids and Tenders - Online Bidding System up to [BID CLOSING DATE – 03:00pm local time on Thursday, May 20, 2021]. Bids submitted after the Online Bidding System closing time will not be accepted by the Online Bidding System. The time as indicated by the declining time clock on the Online Bidding System shall be the official time for closing. 

The work involves:

1. Approx. 1000 m of 100 mm Dia. HDPE DR11 potable water pipeline by Horizonal Direction Drill.
2. Approx. 2400 m of 200 mm Dia. HDPE DR11 potable water pipeline by Horizonal Direction Drill.
3. Tracer Wire and Tracer Wire Junction Boxes.
4. 6 – Gate Valves.
5. 1 –Air Release Valves Chamber.
6. 1 –Meter Chamber.
7. Tie in to existing 200 mm HDPE DR17 potable water pipeline on the east side by hot tap. 
8. Tie in to existing Villeneuve Airport Reservoir on the west side by coring into pumphouse basement wall and installing blind flange inside building. 
9. Horizontal Direction Drill crossing of existing range road, Highway 633, utilities, and wetlands. 
10. Commissioning including hydrostatic testing, swabbing, flushing and disinfection. 

Contract Documents will be available on the Bids and Tenders website (https://ae.bidsandtenders.ca) on or after [BID POSTING DATE – Tuesday, April 27, 2021].  Bidders are required to check for any updated information and addenda issued before the closing date and time at the Bids and Tenders website.

Any changes to the Bid Documentation will be issued by means of written addenda and posted to the Bids and Tenders website and will form part of the Bid.  No amendment of any kind to the tenderer is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum. Upon submitting to this Bid, Bidders will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that have been posted and deemed to have considered the information for inclusion in the tender submitted.
